Might be our new go-to spot for sushi rolls! Everything came out quickly and tasted fresh. Our favorite rolls were the Mikomi Special Roll and the Yo Sexy Sexy Roll. The Citrus Salmon and Cherry Blossom rolls were fine, though nothing standout. We went on a Friday night when it was packed, but the wait was only about 10–15 minutes, which wasn’t bad at all.

We’ve been dining with Mikomi for many years, even before they move to the current Monrovia location. We still love their sushi, rolls, and sashimi after so many years. They used to have much better sushi chef service, where we would regularly get specials treatment to better portions etc. I guess that’s part of growing and now with four stores, you loose touch with old customers. Disappointing.

Great place to get Sushi. Service was awesome and food was fantastic.
Got together with some friends for dinner. We found this sushi place in Monrovia. Got a table outside. Waitress was nice. Food came out fast despite how busy they were. Had some appetizers, sushi rolls and a sashimi platter. Food was good! Other than a few obnoxious patrons walking by, dinner was good. Next time we would get table inside.

Yesterday my friend took me to this sushi restaurant. The place is quite spacious and very clean, and the servers were polite and friendly. The food was tasty, fresh, and reasonably priced, so overall it was a nice dining experience.
The only issue was with the service — there were only two servers, and they forgot to bring us the soup. Even though they asked us twice whether we had received it and we said no, they completely forgot again and never mentioned it, even when we were paying the bill. It wasn’t a big problem, but I think the service could improve a little by paying more attention to details.
