Ricky, the new owner(now it’s named, exclusive cocina mexicana) was amazing with his service. Knew his own menu very well. He just bought the business from the previous owner 2 months prior. I have no prior experience from the previous restaurant, but I am near certain it exceeds the quality from before.
Came here and thought it was Ximapa but it has a new owner and I am even more happier then before. The owner was on site and was very polite and kept a lot of the favorites on the menu. Ordered a carne asada burrito which was great. Ate some chilaquiles which was amazing. And a family member irdered a torta which was great. Will definitely be going back.
Ordered the pork ribs with salsa verde and mole enchiladas. The enchiladas were pretty good, you could taste the chocolate in the sauce. The pork with salsa verde was nothing special, the sauce was mostly tomatillo and was not spicy at all, lacked flavor. I was disappointed with the side of rice as it was old and dry, it was also luke warm, like it was tossed in the microwave for 15 seconds (with no top to preserve steam).
