I always pick up delicious bites at the deli, but I must give an equal 5-stars to The Market. They always have a wonderful assortment of gourmet food, wine and hostess gifts. For the second year in a row I have loaded up on beautifully packaged holiday treats for my in-laws. A perfect spot to get something for someone who has everything!
Not being much of a morning person - I rarely get out and about until mid-afternoon, and this place is already closed. But a week ago, I stopped in while it was open, looked around, and was impressed by the offerings in the market. (I have yet to try the food, but am going to!) I asked the woman in charge - who also is seen running the very good sister business across the street, Tre Lune, if they ever carried caviar. She told me they only have it for the holidays normally. But...
What an awesome experience...stumbled across this great Italian Market and Deli. Found a perfect house warming gift and they helped me put a basket of goodies together. The staff was great, very helpful in assisting me to decide. I was able to grab one of my favorite sandwiches, corn beef ruben, so delicious!
I highly recommend stoping here when and if you are in town!
