“Service was so slow. Apparently some issue with the grill, but nobody bothered to say anything until our meal was almost done. Then we asked to order dessert and were told the restaurant was closing. This was 8:15pm on a Friday night. Gotta do better. Communication to customers when things are going poorly in the kitchen can go a long way.“

“We love Chuck’s of Hawaii. Service is perfect, everyone is so pleasant. Last night, on my 88th birthday, our son Chuck and son fChris, not here, took us there for dinner. We all raved about the ribeye steaks, cooked perfectly with a superb flavor, delicious hot baked potato and a surprise cheesecake for my birthday. That was very nice. Thank you so much. “We head to Lucky's every time we are in Montecito, it is our go to place. But as with all restaurants, so much of your own enjoyment depends on the behavior of strangers. Our drinks were delightful, the food was delicious, but the nearby table of loud tech bros braying about their lives was hard to tune out. So yes, it can be noisy inside.“
