Came at 12:30 sunday, restaurant is not open. Business hour signs at the front door says 11am to 11pm and Yelp says it is open. Very dissapointed!

Just poor customer service. Waitress was rude. Demanded me that I'd tip her. I would never eat here again.

So I just realized today when I ordered takeout and went to the wrong pickup location, that this is the actual restaurant I went to all those months ago. Anyways, here is the original review I mistakenly posted under the Alhambra location:The food was bomb. I ordered the chicken rolls, which were really good. One of my friends ordered the oxtail broth soup with handmade noodles, and that was really good too, and perfect in today's rainy cold weather. My other friends ordered the beef roll and some dumplings. And to top our family style meal off, we ordered hot Hong Kong milk teas, which is one of their refillable drinks and is really just black tea that comes with a small jug of condensed milk for us to mix in according to our own personal preference. All in all, it was alot of food we shared family style, but after splitting the post- tax & tip amount, it came out to only $15 per person. So incredibly affordable for some delicious Beijing style food.Service was fantastic- unobtrusive waiting in the background, and incredibly attentive, paying special attention to us and meeting our needs before we even had to ask.

If there was a way to give zero stars, I would. We ordered wok fried noodles with tofu. I picked up the order and when I got home, there was a beef roll and beef noodles. We have not eaten meat in over 20 years. We called and told them they gave us someone else's order. They said that that's what we ordered and refused to give us the correct order or a refund. I told them I would drive back there (which would take at least 25 minutes) and bring back the food. They said they were closing and that they couldn't help me. (They also hung up on me three times and refused to give their names). DO NOT PLACE ANY PHONE ORDERS AT THIS RESTAURANT!

101 Noodle Express is a Shanghainese/Taiwanese restaurant group. It is an amazing restaurant that serves delicious food. As other people have also said, the xiao long bao and beef wraps are the best dishes offered. These two dishes are followed by the dan dan noodles, and apparently the hainan chicken too (although I have never tried it, people tell me nice things). The dan dan noodles are handmade and you can taste the difference! However, my favorite item at the restaurant is the house green veggie and chili sauce; I could eat this house sauce on everything for every meal for every day for the rest of my life. Such a great place to go for lunch or dinner! Food alone makes the trip worth it.

This is one of my favorite Chinese places in SoCal. It's very authentic and delicious! My go to here are the beef pancake rolls and dandan mien. They come in good portion sizes and are very flavorful, the beef in the roll nice and cold marinated in very authentic spiced soy sauce broth. The pancake is warm and crispy on the outside, makes a perfect complement. Dandan mien is also one of my favorite dishes and it comes mildly spicy here but add chili oil if you like it extra hot! This place might receive lower ratings for the service, but let's be honest I came for the food not the service. (; Also this place is cash only, so make sure to load up from the nearest ATM before coming!

My friend and I had lunch here on a rainy Tuesday in March. The place was dead at 11:30am only one couple was eating there. We were seated right away. I ordered a bowl of beef noodle soup and pan fried pork dumplings. The noodles soup arrived first. The broth is not dark instead clear, beef slices was not tender just chewy or tough, lots of green onions, and noodles was chewy. As for the dumplings, it has lots of pork filling and has some juice inside. I had it better elsewhere. Service was average. The waitress spoke some English.

Been coming here a few times a year for about 7 years since parking and getting a table are easier than the one on Valley Blvd. We love the chicken noodle soup, beef roll, and all the various dumplings we have tried. This location has the grill menu, but we are not very knowledgeable about it and never order from it. The only thing that prevents us from coming more often is that there's no changing table in the restroom (like most Chinese restaurants) and we have had kids in diapers for the past few years.

My to go for Beef soup with hand torn noodles. I don't get anything else besides this dish. The noodz are nice and firm but once in a blue moon they're not that great. Service is always on point as I usually come around 2pm not so many customers. Their mango green tea is not bad and very affordable.

I haven't been here for the longest time, but my recent trip confirmed that I probably would not visit here again. I feel like the quality has gone down since the last time I've been here (which was probably like a year or two ago). Service was quick (cause there wasn't really any customers there at that time), but food was kind of off to me. We ordered the juicy pork dumplings and it was kind of soggy. The meat inside was also kind of mushy. We also ordered the "dan dan mian" and it was basically drenched in peanut sauce, but it didn't even really have that peanut taste to it. The noodles were also too soft, so the sauce even made it taste soggier. Parking is underneath (Atlantic Times Square), and didn't necessarily had trouble finding parking on a Sunday night. Overall, I would pass on this place if you're feeling like xlbs or dan dan mian.

So, a group of friends and I arrived at this location around 10:20 pm on a Saturday night. Their hours were stated to close at 11 pm. As I opened the door to enter the premise, the door attendant quickly turned us away and said that they were closed. That doesn't make sense.

The food was good. Although they didnt have most of what I wanted.walked In to an empty restaurant was seated and wasnt really given time to look at the menu.i felt rushed and when we finally ordered we got served fairly in time. The servers were on their phones the whole time after we got served. We had to wave down a busboy for drinks. Once we were finished eating we had to wait for the bill due to the servers being distracted on their phones. We ended up going to them. In the end we got our bill and signed it and did not leave a tip due to how service was.. the server picked up the receipt and looked at the fact that she was given no tip and demanded her tip.we did low tip even tho she didnt deserve it. I would have tipped the busboy for his troubles but was sent home..I dont think I would return here unless its employees improve.

This restaurant offers fantastic service as well as tasty meals. One of my favourite places around town. The meals came out quickly and the rates were reasonable. Will definitely recommend this spot.
