Very disappointed with this hironori in monterey park. It was full of flies and the Service was terrible food did not taste the same as the one in Santa Fe Spring. I won't ever go back to this location in monterey park. Bad Bad 👎 😫 😑 😕

Walked in to a warm greeting. Nice atmosphere, with prompt service. Got a table quickly. Server was nice and attentive. And the food was wonderful! Original and flavorful!

Did you know the SGV is home to a Michelin Guide ramen spot? 🔥 Tucked into a small strip in Monterey Park, this establishment is one of those spots that doesn’t rely on flash to stand out — the food speaks for itself. As a Michelin Guide-listed ramen shop, it’s built a reputation for quality, and after our visit, it’s easy to see why.

Hironori nails the balance of comfort and quality without trying too hard. Highly recommend a visit to experience it all!

Ordered the large salmon poke bowl. Very very very small portion, more half of it was salad. The actual food was decent but not what I was expecting. Was going to order ramen but all they had was chicken, pork and tofu. Not too many options and the portions are very small.

The restaurant is a rare find in monterey park that a ramen place is with a fair price and amazing taste. It is my favorite ramen place now. I tried all the ramen in the menu and I like them all! Recommend shoyu and the cold noodle if you want the flavorful taste first. The water is awesome too! Tried lunch and dinner and the place is not busy which is great! The restaurant feels clean and has no kitchen smell as a lot of restaurant do. So highly recommend!

Be careful, they put service charge on the bill…….they did not mention that so that will make you pay almost 30% tips(including 18%tips and service charge……)

It's not easy to give a low rating on ramen shops, but this is one of those surprising disappointment.
This HiroNori location looks fantastic from outside to inside, a clean contemporary Jap feel. Easy private parking lot at the back is also nice.
I ordered a Tonkotsu ramen combo, comes with a side salad & small rice bowl. Broth is on the lighter side (weak bone broth taste) and has the right amount of fat. Noodles are thick and do taste homemade. Didn't wait long to take my first bite, but the noodles are surprisingly soft.
The diced pork belly on the rice bowl was the main challenge. It was burnt, bitter, and salty. Also tasted some wierd sourness in the rice... lemon juices?
$31.51 lunch (including self-added 16.58% svc charge)

Vegan ramen lacked flavor and was very subpar. Thin tasteless broth and soy meat was very bad. Noodles themselves were thick and chewy. Wish the broth was better. Wouldn't recommend for vegans.

Best ramen in the area. Haven’t eat ramen like this since Fujizen on Valley closed 10yr ago. The atmosphere is nice but they have some weird smells both in restaurant and restroom.

I was assisted by a young female staff when ordering, she was courteous and friendly.

Just double check your total bill before paying.
I was assisted by a male staff when paying, was told the 16% “service fee”’was excluded, so I left a 15% tip.

He didn’t take it off, which means I ended up paying 31% service fee and tip!
