R&B Tea Monterey Park

Was looking for a small business that focused on the quality and flavor of the tea itself, and this checked all those boxes and more.

I was very impressed by the taste of the teas. The milk tea has a strong flavor and the fruit teas are very refreshing. This place has reasonable prices and also often runs promotions! The place has a cute aesthetic and has board games to borrow.

Absolutely love this spot! R&B Tea in Monterey Park has quickly become one of my favorite go-to boba shops. The drinks are consistently flavorful and not overly sweet — I always get mine half-sugar and it’s perfect every time. The boba is super fresh and chewy, and I highly recommend the Mathca Stormy and Yakult drinks if you’re looking to try something new.

It's a shame the matcha isn't that good but I still love the place further strawberry drinks. I like to get them extra extra extra extra extra sweet. The only reason I found out about it was because I went to the Dollar tree next door and I kept seeing cashiers walking with them.

Hands down the best boba experience I've ever had! From the moment I walked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The shop itself is super cute and Instagram-worthy, with a cozy vibe that makes you want to linger over your drink.

But the real star of the show is the boba itself - the flavors are creative and delicious, and the boba is always cooked to perfection. I've tried a few different drinks and they've all been amazing, with just the right balance of sweetness and flavor.

The customer service is top-notch too - the staff are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations. They even offered to customize my drink to my taste preferences, which was a lovely touch.

Overall, I'd highly recommend this boba shop to anyone looking for a great cup of boba. It's definitely my new go-to spot, and I'll be back again and again to try more flavors and drinks. 10/10 would recommend!

Small, cozy, chill spot with plenty of seating to hang out. It’s nestled in the middle of the hills of MPK… away from the day-to-day chaos. I recommend their Yakult drinks.

Great drinks! I've been to R&B a few times before and I've gotten their Yakult drinks and matcha drinks, usually at half sweetness, and they are pretty good.

This time, I got the Mango Matcha Latte at half sweet and I enjoyed it. The mango was a bit sweet, but as long as it's mixed in, it's good. I believe the mango is frozen, in case you're particular about that.

The atmosphere is great too! I love the comfortable couch seating and nearby outlets. I'd come here to hang with friends or do some work.

I ordered crystal boba, but apparently that detail just vanished somewhere between the counter and the cup. It’s honestly ridiculous — how hard is it to follow a simple order? If I wanted a plain drink, I wouldn’t have paid extra. This level of carelessness is unacceptable. Please take customer orders seriously, or don’t bother offering customization at all.
