OK this is literally the West Coast version of Cheers. I've never seen a place where everybody says. Hi and bye to each other. The bartenders are great. The serving staff is very reliable. And I love the dark and calming vibe. I had their VR burger, which complements all the drinks I had. They have a grill where you can cook your own steaks, I'm definitely coming back here for a few first dates.

I remember when Big Joe would go there and he would sit in his seat, and if I got a chance sit next to him he would tell me about the history of the Venice Room and the other location that was on Pomona Ave. Joe was 94 years young and was sharpe as a bat he would talk to me about the 50s 60s as if it were yesterday.

Fun crowd and karaoke , the drinks are a great price . The crowd is cool and the patio on back is pretty chill, great place to go to cook your own steak and then sing your heart out. The crowd is a bit older so just be ready for that as well, I actually didn't mind it

Generally a fun place, down to earth people. But was double charged recently (paid cash & charged to card). When I tried to resolve issue, they each pointed me to the other person and ended up just taking the hit but won't go back. Their advice to me was don't drink (sober bartender knows best) and don't start a tab. Both seem unworkable at a bar.

Old school OG style bar with dining area that has a small area to cook your own steak! Season it yourself then grill it to your liking on the decades of well seasoned charbroiler! Steak combos come old school with iceberg lettuce salad, baked potato and cheese toast. Super friendly staff and great drinks. Cozy red booths separate area to eat in and stand up bar next door. Note place is 21 and over as it is considered a "bar" serving food. Filled with locals from all walks of life - good vibes

It's not a glamourous place, however everyone always seems happy; All servers/bartendars have always been polite, helpful. The variety of music playing in the background is great! Beer served in a nice chilled glass is the best! Street tacos are my favorite, along with the lemon herb chicken wings :)
