I cannot say enough about Desmin. She was a complete gem. Phenomenal recommendations, fantastic service, and a beautiful attitude. Food was some of the best we have had in years. We will be back!

This was a beautiful restaurant the ambiance was very nice and the service was impeccable . Everything we ordered was amazing we had prime rib filet mignon lobster and coconut shrimp everything was delicious we had a party of 4 and everybody food was excellent 
Friendly staff, fabulous view of the Monterey Bay, excellent menu choices, tasty food and cocktails. They even gave us a free dessert to celebrate our anniversary. We will definitely return for more special dinners.

We had a lovely brunch at The Chart House in Monterey. We sat by the window so we had a lovely view of the bay. The food was delicious. Our server was very professional and nice. Overall it was a lovely experience and I would definitely eat there again.

My husband and I had a plan to eat at the Chart House after not being there for many years. It was a very pleasant experience. We were seated at a table with the best view of the bay that you could get. The ambiance was great, servers were very attentive and provided good help with ordering. We totally enjoyed the salad bar that included many great choices and even had caviar!! My husband ordered the seafood linguine and I had the chef's special fish which was black cod served over rice. It was very good. The fish tasted very fresh and my husband's linguine had a generous portion of seafood of great variety. We enjoyed a mud pie at the end that was a nice ending for a great meal. Kudos to the staff and chef at Chart House.

We started out having a very pleasant dinner with good service, but the experience went downhill midway through the meal. Our server was sent on a break and we weren't told, and unfortunately no one else checked on our table while she was gone. Our dirty dinner plates sat in front of us for quite a while, and when we wanted another drink I had to flag down a hostess. The drink that came wasn't what I had ordered. When our server returned, it was clear the restaurant had become focused on several large parties that had just arrived, and the rest of the dining room was left waiting. It was disappointing, especially since everything had been going well up to that point. This wasn't the fault of our server — it was more a breakdown in coverage and communication. Chart House has a great setting and started strong, but the service gap really took away from what should have been a nice evening.

Had a really good birthday dinner here. Liked the salad bar and everything included was delicious! We had a fillet mignon with mashed potatoes, asparagus and the lava cake for dessert. Great service really love the ambience. We will definitely eat here again.
