We had the fish and chips and the sea bass tacos! Nicely prepared! The fish and chips were very nice and crispy. Fresh fish makes the best fish and chips. Ten tacos were also good and the fish was not dried! Our server was very kind and helpful. Definitely recommending this to all visitors of Monterey. An extra tip, if you park your car with the hotel valet park, you get your ticket validated at the restaurant!
A little hard for me to find at first. It was downstairs in a hotel. But I loved it. Sat inside by the window. Watched the sea lions swim by. Rebecca was our server for the night, she was awesome. Friendly and attentive. Loved the drink I ordered ended up ordering 3! Kudos to the bartender. Got the schooners tower, clam chowder bowl, and Schooners combo (I forgot the name of it) . The clam chowder was so good, the best we had this weekend so far. Nice option for a coastal restaurant.

Great experience at Schooners on the patio overlooking the water. Our waiter, Jacob, was very attentive and made great recommendations. Clam chowder in a bread bowl was excellent, Thai style curry mussels were delicious and the ceviche was good but not great. The fish tacos were tasty and the fried chicken sandwich was flavorful and unique. Would definitely dine there again.
