We were looking for a place to get a quick bite to eat and saw this deli. It looks like it's been here for a long time. We shared the artichoke melt. It was really good! I've never had a sandwich like it. It had quite a bit of marinated artichoke hearts, a lot of fresh spinach, and kalamata olives on toasted wheat bread. I would order this again.
Ordered bagel sandwiches online and they were just about ready when we ordered 5 minutes walk away, and were very affordable which is hard to come by in Monterey! Perfect food before the whale watch tour.
I stopped in this morning for a breakfast burrito. First time customer. I was not disappointed by previous reviews.
The burrito itself was hot and filled with chorizo that was well cooked with good size potato peices. The eggs were a good scramble and not diced into small pieces. It was maybe a bit light on cheese but that is a personal preference.
