Fantastic sandwiches!! Tried the muffaletta and the godfather - both were delicious and huge. Enough for 2 meals for 2 people. Store has a great selection of sodas/soft drinks. Locally made baklava available - also fantastic. Highly recommend.
I loved this place when I lived there and I always make sure to visit whenever I'm back in the area. The full size sandwiches are great to split for a meal with a friend or split as a lunch and dinner by yourself. (Actually a bargain, especially considering the area). Second to none. The sandwich was huge and Compagno himself checked us out. We were scruffy, just having come from a dive in the bay, and this is exactly what we needed. We shall return! Thank you, Compagno!
