We actually ordered another one from another bakery as insurance and Parker Lusseau’s was the top taste favorite by all of us. “We had such a great dinner at Bistro Moulin! The restaurant is quaint with an inviting but relaxed vibe, and the service felt intentional and personal. The food was delicious! We had a reservation and were seated immediately. We ordered the caesar salad, spinach gnocchi, fish of the day and filet mignon. Everything was fresh, reasonable portion sizes, and super flavorful. The fish was one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while! The filet was cooked perfectly and the peppercorn sauce on top was so good. For dessert we had the mousse special and it was insane. Wine selection was also on point! The owner was our server and he was so nice and attentive. We’re just visiting, but we’d definitely return! Highly recommend for a great meal while in Monterey!“

“Layers Bakery is wonderful!! Hilary went above and beyond for my daughters wedding cake. She was professional and so courteous especially due to the fact that I ordered thos cake about a week before my daughter's wedding! I came in from out of town and was late getting flowers to the bakery to add to my daughter's cake. Hillary was flexible and went out of her way to help me! The was absolutely beautiful and delicious!! Thank you to Hillary and Layers Bakery!! I highly recommend this bakery!!“

“Chong's is a hidden gem. The service is friendly and polite. The prices are affordable. And most importantly the dishes are fantastic! We had the Hong Kong and vegetable chow mein. It was delightful the crunch noodle dipped in sauce so tasty! I will have to come back to try more fun dishes like the Sheshwan beef or the Kong Po chicken!“

“Didn't know if I was supposed to see myself or wait for a host the one helped me about 3 minutes after I got there the food prepared was not exactly what the server wrote up disappointed by that but the food tastes and the folks were walking around to assist we're notice at people who are genuinely happy to be here the temperature is a little chilly inside the restaurant but it's a nice place to be“

“Picked up food to go last year and it was really good. So happy that we found this place again! Ordered garlic parm and spicy fried chicken wing plates, lemongrass chicken and beef meatball pho. Also ordered strawberry and melon boba milk tea and Vietnamese coffee with egg cream. Food and drinks came out quickly. Customer service was great. It was so good that we ate and drank everything! We will definitely come here again when we’re in the area.“

“Highly recommend this place. We started out with the Tapas (calamari and the burrata) which was so good! Then we had the paella. It takes 30min to prepare which they told us about and it was disclosed on the menu too which I appreciated. This paella was literally the best paella I ever had EVER. ! Absolutely delicious!!!!! Shareable too! I had the Spanish Margarita for my cocktail and that was delicious too. Left completely stuffed. Definitely worth it.“

“I am from Michigan took my family here. Food was great, people were great and very fun. kept us entertained while we waited for our food. I left my backpack full of souvenirs there and they mailed it all the way back to Michigan. Very thankful.“

“We loved everything of this place.
The position on the wharf is priceless, the stroll to get to the restaurant feels like walking inside a postcard and the big windows in the hall are literally over the sea. We were given a table by the windows and a couple of seals played in the water below us for the whole dinner.
The interior speaks confident elegance without pretention; the service was attentive without being obtrusive; the food was really delicious and the price was more than reasonable for the quality. We were really charmed.“

“The best fresh food around. I really don’t go out to any other restaurant anymore because of what I have here. I know the quality of the food the way I will be treated and the cleanliness of this restaurant. In 4 years I never had a bad meal or something that is wrong. They have always been upfront about their menu and service. Even if they are busy they tell me and I don’t care about waiting I know it will be worth the wait. Thank you Krua Thai Gregg“

“We were visiting Carmel by the sea and couldn’t find a restaurant in the area with less than an hour wait. We found CPK and it did not disappoint! We had 3 pizzas (BBQ, Margherita & pepperoni) and the Chicken Piccata. Everything tasted great but my favorite was the BBQ pizza. The brisket & sweet BBQ was very tasty! We also ordered the churro swirl dessert and it was very tasty! Our server did take a little while to greet us & take our drink order and we had to ask for refills a couple of times but overall, she was friendly and helpful“
