“My wife and I visited this café on our last day vacationing in Monterey. It had a nice cozy atmosphere that was warm and inviting with a beautiful view of the ocean. Both of our breakfast were very delicious with a great of flavor, but we both agreed that the Wave Street potatoes were absolutely amazing. The service was great and very professional, we didn’t have to wait long but we did get there a little early so we recommend that you do too because it does get packed pretty quick.“
“I have been coming here for years. I always (with occasional exceptions) order the Argentine Tri Tip sandwich. It is the BEST! I love this place.Parking: Parking can be limited but I normally ride my bicycle there. Never had any issues with my car either.“
“This place really does their food right. I absolutely loved their fish and chips and more laid back atmosphere here versus cannery row. I do recommend eating here if you just want a good meal after a long day at the aquarium or beach.Parking: Easy to find a place to park on the street on a busy Friday afternoon“
“One of the best sandwiches I ever had! The "Cubano". I had them put all of the meat choices in my sandwich. Delicious! Prices are fare & the staff was super friendly! Go here if you have a hangry stomach. Trust me, you're going to love whatever you get.“
“This place is the place to go and hangout with family and friends. It's cozy, and has many things to do. There is a reading corner with books, you can play loteria, and even listen to cassettes. The service was great and the food is really good as well. They brought the check in a CD case so it was really cool.“
“This is a snack bar next to a baseball field so set your expectations appropriately and prepare to be blown away. The burgers and fries are delicious and priced affordable, classic candy, snow cones, my kids and I love this place. Skip McDonalds and come here. There isn’t a lot of seating (it’s a snack bar, not a full blown restaurant), so grab one of the tables throughout the park, or bring a blanket and find somewhere to sit on the grass.“
“Such a great place to have dinner! Whether it is outside or in! All the food was deliciously cooked to perfection (although some things were way too dry). Beware about sitting close to the door! It doesn't close on it's own, so if it's cold outside, I hope you brought jackets for when that one person doesn't notice the door needs closing after they walk in.“
“What a nice surprise! This restaurant had a Mexican vibe, and we wish there were more Mexican dishes on the menu. We had a burrito bowl and a steak quesadilla, and both were delicioso! The wait staff were attentive and kept our drinks filled.“
“The food was 4/5 stars and the service was 5/5! I give the Chicado sandwich a 7.5/10 because the chicken was more on the dryer side, but the flavor was great! I had caesar salad on the side which was beautifully drenched in dressing. If you're into that then it'll be perfect for you! My boyfriend had the Prime Dip. He gave it a 8/10 because the bread they used fit well with the sandwich. The meat was tender and the cheese was nicely melted into the sandwich. The french toast was 5/10. We thought the bread slices would be more on the thicker side, but it wasn't. It didn't lack in flavor so that kind of saved it. The service was great overall. The waiter was very attentive and accommodating! There was a small hiccup with the syrup, but it got quickly resolved. I could see why this place is always packed! If you guys wanna try this place out, just don't forget to put yourselves on the waitlist!“
