“The burgers are absolutely fantastic. You can also grab chicken and a vegan sandwich if that is what you desire! Betty burgers are made with 100% fresh, all natural beef. NO antibiotics, NO hormones in her beef ever! All burgers are dressed with lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles and lube. The veggies are ripe and crisp depending on what you get. Betty's Lubes are all mayonnaise based and pretty yummy! I have tried 3 different sandwiches and the chicken and the hot dog, all of which were outstanding. Two thumbs up for Betty's burgers for me, oh and they have great milk shakes as well!“
“Where do I even start. I've been coming here most of my adult life and have never had a bad experience, food is constantly great, would recommend for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Fries cooked to perfection every time. Breakfast sandwich that I can't get enough of, overall a great experience. I know it's a drive in burger joint, but it always delivers.“
“Every aspect of going where was phenomenal. The food was great (I had the cheesesteak, my friend had the Kong burger). The food was great, it was twice as cheap as everything else in the area, and the service / environment was great.We couldn't manage to bring the food home because we ended up just gorging and eating it on our way back. “I took my neighbor's daughter at UCSC here for brunch. We got two Cali Croissants, one with regular bacon and one with turkey bacon, a ginger beer, and a Kombucha. The Cali Croissant is HUGE and will not fit into your mouth, unless perhaps you are a teenage boy. The Croissant was lightly toasted and delicious. My fruit side came with a nice mix of fruit: actual strawberries and blueberries, as opposed to just the standard grapes and melons. I really appreciated that. Service was friendly, but they don't really check on you when they're busy. They just brought us our food and the check. The only drawbacks are that it's crowded inside and the prices are not student-friendly. Not prohibitively expensive, but a little pricier than your typical breakfast and brunch spot. The quality of the food was great, though, so the pricing is somewhat justified.“
“They close at 2 on Sundays and we showed up around 1:20 and there were people waiting to be seated before us. They did not make us feel rushed at all! Took our order and brought everything out hot and cooked with care. Everything was very good! The waitress was amazing and very attentive! Made sure we had everything we needed. This place is definitely going into our rotation for breakfast.“

“It is SO GOOD and conveniently close in driving distance to the Boardwalk! The only thing that I didn't like is the parking because it is super tight. Only 6 cars can fit in the lot, otherwise you will have to park on the side street.The staff is really nice and restaurant is clean. So many great burgers to choose from.“
“Friends and I had brunch at this new jewel of a spot in Capitola. Right off the freeway with service being quick allowing us to get in and out. The calamari was lightly breaded with the best homemade cocktail sauce I've ever had. The onion rings fried to perfection and the veggie omelette was soooo cheesy. The food was mouth watering and then I took a bite and my taste buds did the cha cha cha. Cha Ching! I scored, food is is dynamic and well priced. The servers came back three times but didn't hover. The restaurant is colorful and vibrant just like the food. I couldn't resist taking a bite out of my friend's hot pastrami too!“
“The food was delicious. The scalloped potatoes tasted like the ones my mom used to make, scrumptious. The ribs melted in your mouth. The he bbq sauce was perfect, not too thick, just right and flavor was fantastic. We had a large party and everyone loved their choice. The server Clay, was friendly & attentive. The restaurant was busy and the volume was quiet and relaxing. Definitely a wonderful experience overall. Can't wait to go back. Thank you to the complete staff.“

“Our visit to seaside fish&chowder was a delightful treat. The fish was cooked to perfection with bomb tartar sauce to match. Also, we pleasantly surprised about the quality of the French fries tasted was like they were freshly peeled potatoes. The service was excellent; our waitress was very attentive. The decor matched the beach boardwalk theme, especially since we were on the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk with sand just a few feet away. “I eat here about once/month, so I think I've got a pretty good sample size to go off of.So my 5 star review is based on the context of what this place serves up: A classic burger. No fancy gourmet ultra thick monster burgers, no 6" tall burgers skewered with a sword. It's that sweet spot between a fast food burger and a expensive boutique burger place. Every time I've been here my food was cooked fresh with fresh hot fries.That being said, the inside is a bit rough and maybe don't use the bathroom.. but again you aren't at Fancy McBurger Town. Enjoy a classic, freshly grilled burger and some hot french fries!“
