“Papa Chanos never disappoints! First thing I noticed walking in was how clean the restaurant was — seriously spotless. We ordered burritos, asada fries, quesadillas, and beans and rice, and everything was absolutely delicious. The portions were way bigger than expected — those quesadillas were LOADED. We got so much more food than we anticipated, which is always a win!
My son ordered the bean burrito and gave it a solid 10/10 — his words, not mine — and honestly I couldn’t argue with him. It was that good. The asada fries and beans and rice were just as satisfying.
The free chips and salsa bar is such a great touch. Fresh, flavorful, and a perfect way to start the meal while you wait. Speaking of waiting — we barely had to! Our food came out super fast, which is impressive considering how fresh and well-made everything tasted.
If you’re looking for a go-to Mexican spot with great food, generous portions, and a clean, welcoming environment, Papa Chanos is it. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Dametra Fresh provided lunch for volunteers at California Roots Festival this year. The food was so fresh and mouth watering! Providing for the volunteers is so special and means the world to us! Highly recommend if you want yummy food and kind hearts.“

“My wife and I will be paying a visit to the Presidio in a few weeks. We have many fond memories there from 1986/1987 when I was a Polish student and she was a Czech student, both of us U.S. Army. We met there and were married in Pacific Grove on our lunch hour. In our minds it's a magical place (and a superb language school) that expanded our horizons. We're returning to the U.S. after many years overseas.“

“I love eating here. The honey walnut shrimp is my favorite! We've eaten here twice, and i can't wait to go back. The servings are great for the price! It's clean and kid friendly. The staff are friendly as well. It's right next to trader Joe's and across is Chipotle. The parking isn't that bad either.“

“This Jack in the Box is an oasis in the food desert that is lower Munras avenue. Who has time for delicious meals cooked from scratch at way better eateries like The Wild Plum, Krua Thai or even The Great Wall? I know I don't. Just this week I grabbed two tacos for the wifey, a spicy Jack wrap for yours truly, hamburgers for the kids and a large curly fries for the whole family in less time than it took to write this review. I don't get high anymore but if I did I'd hit that l8 night stoner menu fo sho.“

“This gal came of her shift, at 8:06 pm tonight, and STOKED my 7 year old boys… and me. She had the Christmas Spirit and this was the last place we expected it, and actually, the first Christmas Spirit of the Season. My kids said that was so nice… and I agree. Merry Christmas to you wonderful lady. 🎄“
