“It's really cute for a taco bell, and as far as taco bell goes, the food was made really well. Friendly staff, but not very many of them. I absolutely hated the kiosks they had installed. Only one register and 4 kiosks? I mean, at least there's still one register, but I'm always going to think that people make for a better reason to go somewhere. If the owners don't agree, then I probably won't be going there anymore.“

“Had a sandwich for lunch, although the line was long and there were only 2 people working it went pretty smoothly. I would recommend a 3 rd person to help out as it seemed like a lot for the 2 girls. We did have to wait longer than normally. The sandwich itself was perfect, they make them custom to your liking!

Vegetarian options: This place is a vegetarian paradise! No meat is needed on the sandwich and you can pick from all the vegies on display.

Parking: Lots of parking, handicap spaces as well.

“These are hands down the best carnitas tacos in Santa Cruz. No question. I don’t want to hear any debate. The carnitas were crackly/crispy on the outside and soft/tender on the inside. The quality here is leagues above everything else in Santa Cruz. This place is better than pretty much anything you will find in the South Bay as well which is saying a lot.“

“I haven't had Five Guys in over 13 years. The first time I tried Five Guys was in Sacramento and I absolutely hated it! But this location in Santa Cruz hit the spot! The cheeseburger was cooked perfectly and the grilled onions, fresh tomatoes, lettuce and pickles were great additions that complimented the burger very well. Way better than The Habit! We ordered online/delivery and there was a special buy one cheeseburger get one free. You can't beat that! I highly recommend this Five Guys.“

The two ladies and one young man who work there are the nicest fast food staff in Scotts Valley, so I have to give them some respect back. They make a mean breakfast burrito as well. Most of the time they are not that busy, so do not expect the fastest service, but they are perfectly on time if you order ahead online. Always friendly and smiling. Gracias!“

“The price has tripled food and service is great but not for what you get $8.99 for three wings two sides no drink I'm sure you get a bucket for $20 but its legs and thighs

“So I'm traveling from out of town and had 2 seniors (one of whom is half deaf), a toddler, and a 6 month old. It was chaos. Shoutout to Connor, who engaged my dad in conversation while I was getting the toddler squared away, and who gave us an excellent recommendation for some local scenery to visit whilst in town. (Shark beach down highway 1 if anyone is interested in some stunning scenery).

The other staff were also friendly (and patient! Thanks!)

The tables were in need of a wipe but I carry baby wipes with me everywhere anyway and my toddler has yet to meet a messy situation he cant make messier.

The food was exactly what we expected it to be which was why we stopped here to begin with.“

“Fabulous donuts. There’s a reason this place has been around for so long. My wife and I have passed this shop many times and never went in until today and we have been missing out! The interior is a fun retro feel with a down to earth atmosphere. Vicky was so incredibly nice and made the experience. We will be coming back soon!“

“It was a good idea having KFC and A&W combined. I enjoyed having the choice between the two places or a little of both. I went with three chicken strips and a double cheeseburger combo. Both were hot and seemed really fresh. The chicken was super tender and the burger had a great flavor. The fries were also some of the best I've had in a while. They had a little seasoning on them which tasted really good. The restaurant doesn't have a lot of places to sit but even to go would be a great option. Definitely worth a try.“

“My family and I recently went to the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk and we ate lunch here. I had a corn dog and a few garlic fries! Both were delicious but if you don’t like a lot of garlic I would recommend not to order the garlic fries because they are loaded with garlic! Garlic lovers will find them perfect for a snack though!

“We only started eating at McDonalds about a year ago when we were traveling. Over that time, one of the things we have noticed is the food is fairly consistent in quality and taste. So, what sets one McDonalds apart from another one? The customer service!

We found the employees here, to be very nice! At a lot of McDonalds, they try to avoid taking your order and point you to a kiosk. Not at this one! When we walked in, there was someone who came over to the register and asked us what we would like. Quite refreshing!

Also, they were really busy, and the empty tables were dirty. So, we went over and asked for a towel to clean one, and the employee (we think the manager) came right over and cleaned it for us. They also went and cleaned others tables after ours, which we didn't expect.

Overall, the food is what you would expect from a McDonalds, but the service is great“

“I've always gotten good service at this location. What I've had more issues with is the Jack App!
And now I can't add jalapenos to my customized breakfast sandwich. That impacts how often I splurge to eat breakfast out.“

“I’m not usually a McDonald’s fan for unknown reasons but I really wanted some McNuggets one night. I went through the drive through, asked if they could cook a fresh 20pc and they happily did! Another night not long after, I had learned the quarter pounder patties are fresh and never frozen. I got a double and wow, it was insanely good for the money relative to their more expensive competition such as Habit or 5 guys etc. Nice clean place worthy of Scotts Valley. Please note, both visits were not during rush times so who knows…..“

“I work at a different subway location than this, I thought that I’d stop by and check it out. I asked the lady behind the counter for employee discount and she said no which is completely fine because you’re technically not supposed to use it unless you’re on the clock. She was pretty slow but it’s fine because the sandwich was good. But the problem I had was with the other coworker. There was the older lady behind the counter doing all the work, and there was a younger teenager girl just sitting in the lobby on her phone. I watched the older lady make about 12 sandwiches by herself in the 20 minutes period that I was there. And I know that break times are 15 minutes long. Overall food was alright, and that girl needs to be fired“

“Food was fresh, staff were polite and they actually asked what sauce we wanted for chicken nuggets whereas McDonalds usually makes you tell them and if you forget they won't follow up when they hand over your order. Store was clean and well stocked. I was very happy with my visit!“
