“Love this place! Great coffee, and yummy avocado toast. Friendly staff, quick service and healthy short menu. Sit at the long natural wood shared tables. BTW a huge coffee grinder in the shop is fun to see. Open to the outside so you can sit outside in good weather. Hilarious the famous tandem bike that the shop kept outside - the thief was caught on video stealing - showed up dumped and returned, likely due to being all over the news! Lol.“
“The food was good, and so was the White Chocolate Mochas, but there seemed to be a lot going on in the prep area, but not so much as in the dining (interior/exterior) area. Also pretty pricey for breakfast, two crepes & two White Chocolate Mochas was over $50.“
“Never in my life have I ever thought I'd see the live long day I would eat a raw sweet potato but then I went to Alta Cafe in Monterey and ordered a Grain* Bowl. The menu listed sweet taters in it and I'm a sweet tato felon. But to my surprise and eventual delight that sucker RAW. Never have I felt more raw vegan Cali girl Stanley cup life style than then and I fear I may never feel that way again ?. Also the coffee cold brew had coffee ice cubes that was awesome good job guys .and the ginger scone was yummy. And the salmon toast was yummy too.*Quinoa bowl excuse meVegetarian options: So many it's crazy. Raw tatosKid-friendliness: You could fit So many of those suckers in there“
“East Village Cafe makes an amazing cup of coffee. The baristas are so nice and professional. The place itself has so much personality, so cozy and eclectic. The best part is, you don't have to wait in a crazy long line like at other coffee shops in the area. I definitely recommend this place if you are into amazing coffee and chill vibes.“
“This is a snack bar next to a baseball field so set your expectations appropriately and prepare to be blown away. The burgers and fries are delicious and priced affordable, classic candy, snow cones, my kids and I love this place. Skip McDonalds and come here. There isn’t a lot of seating (it’s a snack bar, not a full blown restaurant), so grab one of the tables throughout the park, or bring a blanket and find somewhere to sit on the grass.“
“I was recently in the area on vacation, stopped here and thought the coffee was amazingly good! The service was great, eveyrone was super helpful. I had some question about the menu, and they were all very detailed when it came to giving me answers. Highly recommend this place if you're nearby!“
“Everything about this place was great the food, the service, and the vibe around the whole store. The only really confusing part is the bathroom. They have a code and one of the codes don't even work for the left door. Other then that though I recommend coming here.“
“It's hard to get great coffee anywhere in the world unless your in Italy, certain parts of France and a few other places. America is no exception. Most coffee is very average or at times worse. This is not the case at Tidal Coffee. The best coffee I have had in the three weeks I've been in California. Well worth a visit if your passionate about your coffee. At very reasonable prices. Also a very relaxing place with great views across the harbour and a nice outside seating area to sit in the sun.“
“Seen this place a couple of times and decided to try it. Line was out the door when we got here but service is quick. There are only 2 people that work here, from what I saw but they are polite and friendly. I got the sunrise and it was good.“
“To be clear, there is no food, it's just drinks. However I love the location, the ambiance, and said drinks. They put care into creating these recipes, and just as much care into making them. Service is wonderful, and the live music is great. Be prepared to put some money down for drinks, average price off happy hour for the drinks is in the neighborhood of 16 bucks. We spent about 80ish bucks for two drinks each between my wife and I.“
“I bought a latte, took white sugar, Went in again in a few minutes.Me: can I have more sugarMasked Woman:yes which oneMe: the regular kindMasked Woman: white?Me: yesShe turned around took a few white, looked back at me, her eyes smiled knowingly, took a few brown too, handed them to me smiling.I smiled back at her.I loved her brown sugar in the latte.I am visiting the USA as a tourist. I will always remember the smile of her eyes on her glowing coffee brown skin every time I think of coffee and sugar.“
“I was here at least five days a week while living in Monterey, and I must say I miss this place. It was always a welcoming atmosphere where I looked forward to getting work done every time. Employees are fantastic, will return if ever in the area again!“
“Fantastic French cafe eats and coffee drinks. The setting is so Van Gogh. Perhaps it has views of the water from the unaccessible upper floors but it’s a quaint little place and is part of Monterey’s eclectic make-up. If you have a B’day coming up their French cakes are divine too.“
