“I was brought here by friends as they billed it the best local donut shop. I got a blueberry filled croissant, which was perfectly good, no complaints. But the real star was the custard filled donut (with chocolate frosting). If you are a fan of Boston cream, I'm sure you've been disappointed many times by the custard:donut ratio.

But not here. This donut was full! Amazingly and beautifully full! But never so full as to be structurally unsound. Truly a delicious work of craftsmanship. Maybe the best custard filled donut I've ever had.“

“We had very nice anniversary dinner at Stationaery. We sat outside, since we still do not feel comfortable for an indoor seating due to pandemic. The evening was cool, but heating lamps made it comfortable for longer and leisure meal. Both food and service were excellent. “Love the character of the restaurant. Being old, I love older buildings and businesses with history. The staff was friendly and shared info about the food. And the food— had the Italian fish soup dish!!! Lots of fish and the broth was just perfect for dunking freshly baked bread. I am from Colorado and try to go to the Monterey area at least twice a year and the Beach House Restaurant is always on my agenda!!!“

“Great little bakery. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the prices are fair. I was impressed with many of the pastries, to be honest i wasn’t expecting much from a little place in Prunedale. The best things are the croissants, the concha was also delicious and soft.

I got 2 cookies and they are not my favorite. My constructive feedback is they are a bit on the dry side and have a strong taste of leavening agents. I’ll come back when I am visiting family for sure!“

“Love this Starbucks they normally make my requests for extra toasted correctly today I had to run in the restroom and then drive by but as I went I went outside I realized there are no extra trash cans that was akward lol there’s only the main one don’t know if that’s standard but I’ve seen other Starbucks this size have at least one of those black trash cans anyway other than that it’s the cleanest Starbucks cleanest restroom in Monterey to be honest so thank you!“
