“I’m originally from Europe and as a young girl was trained in an Austrian/ German/ Swiss bakery. I am very picky about the type of pastries and cakes I eat. Parker Lusseau located in Monterey is probably the closest bakery I have found that has baked goods just like in Europe. The quality of everything I have tried has been absolutely outstanding. This bakery is so much better than the Paris Bakery or Bechler’s and even the other area bakeries. This place is authentic European. The ingredients being used are a better quality which reflects on the taste. This is definitely my choice for baked goods in Monterey County.“

“Sun drenched, open garage doors, and bright yet minimalist decor will draw you in. The seasonal lattes (snickerdudes and leg warmer) were good and came in the cutest to go cups. The toasts (banana peanut butter and caprese) melded the flavors perfectly and were boxed up for us to take to go on our way to a whale watching tour. We were in a hurry so I unfortunately didn’t grab any photos except for the can of water I enjoyed while waiting.
