“Wow! Wanted to grab a simple sandwich on our way out of town...were totally amazed by the awesome sandwich options here. Ended up dining in, adding the yummy duck fat fries and some unsweetened ice tea to our delicious sandwiches (he did pastrami and I did burnt ends). Loved the easy self-order system that let me customize our choices.“

“We ordered a key lime pie for our daughter’s wedding and it couldn’t have been any more perfect, absolutely beautiful!!! We actually ordered another one from another bakery as insurance and Parker Lusseau’s was the top taste favorite by all of us. “They did our wedding cake in 2016 and then our vow renewal cake this month in 2026!!! We tried a chocolate raspberry this time and it was a fan favorite at our reception. I just wish they would bring back the pistachio flavor tho 😩“

“Alexis is an absolute wizard when it comes to concocting drool-worthy cakes and patisseries! My husband and I were referred to her, Tart and Tin, by our venue as a preferred vendor for our wedding this November 2021, and boy did she understand the assignment! She is incredibly kind, accommodating, and delivered far above and beyond our consultation and expectations. My wedding guests gobbled up everything so quickly and people are still talking about her cake design for us. Alexis was a dream and we cannot recommend her enough! :)“

“A lovely local bakery. Great coffee, interesting location/outlook, and very friendly service. We've waited a long time for it to open and are very pleased to have it in Pacific Grove. Good selection of food for breakfast, morning tea/coffee or light lunch. I had the banana muffin with my coffee. Yummy and just the right size. Not really huge which some cafes think is required.“

“Lupita's strikes again! Once again, completely delicious food! The quality of their food is so good that you won't feel that yucky takeout feeling after eating there! You will feel like your Mexican mom made you a batch of rice and beans! The key is their oaxacan roots! I love how they make their quesadillas with like a thick masa. The tamales are bomb, masa is seasoned correctly and then the fillings are so good. we love the chicken mole ones but also like the rajas and the salsa verde. Today we branched out to try their tortas and new burrito bowls. outstanding! Ask for some Oaxacan cheese on your burrito bowl! Okay, now the bakery... There is always a debate on who has the best donuts on the Monterey Peninsula, I always hear about the donut places, but for me Lupita's is the best. their donut is substantial and then the chocolate on top is decadent! I really keep saying, who would go to any sole donut shop when you can get so much variety here? Donuts, donut holes, cakes, cookies, pan dulce! and my ultimate favorite... a loaf of morning glory bread!!! Like a carrot cake bread with oats! trust me! super delicious! Lastly, they are super friendly! I love their staff! I am currently working with them to do custom donuts for my son's upcoming birthday! They are always willing to work with their customers to make them happy!“

“We chose Patisserie Bechler to make our custom wedding cake and croquembouche, and they were very professional and helpful every step of the way, making sure that both desserts would be perfect. Both were delicious, beautiful, and authentic. They coordinated the drop off at the venue seamlessly. We hope to make it back to Patisserie Bechler soon to try the rest of their pastries!“

“We ordered a two-layer wedding cake from Layers for my son's wedding, and it was an absolute hit! We chose Lemon Buttercream for one tier and Death by Chocolate for the other. Both layers were incredibly fresh, perfectly moist, and beautifully balanced—our guests couldn't stop raving about them. It was the perfect mix of bright, refreshing lemon and rich, decadent chocolate. Hilary was amazing to work with and so helpful. Layers truly delivered a sensational cake for our special day!“

“Reba's Bakery is such a delight! I ordered confetti cookies last year and this one for my daughter's birthday (this week) to celebrate at school. They were absolutely perfect. Chewy, soft in the middle, and rich with flavor. The kids really enjoyed them! I might have saved a few for myself :).
Mike called me the day before to communicate the exact time they would be ready for pick up the next day. The service is always friendly with the finest baked goods.
