This place is "no so hidden gem" just north of cannery row! The ambiance is like a small cottage or beach home. I love the jazz music here too, quite peaceful and you're able to enjoy the meal. The owner was really kind and accommodating, she has a warm and inviting demeanor. Super attentive too. My partner and I both had coffee and matcha and they were superb. Five+ stars for the carrot cake. At $9 a slice it is definitely one of the pricier slices of cake I've ever had, but my husband and I split the slice, so we did get two servings out of the purchase. I have to say it was worth every penny. I have never tasted a more moist delicious carrot cake! The cream cheese frosting was generous and absolutely perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this bakery!!!
