“I had done a search for the best clam chowder in Monterey and they are at the top of almost every list, and they were right! I got the clam chowder in the garlic sourdough bowl I highly recommend them! My wife, Michele got risotto with caramelized onions, shrimp and sole. We had a view of Monterey Bay and some sea lions playing. Our server, Giovanny, was phenomenal! He brought Michele a piece of complimentary cheesecake and a rose for her birthday. 🌹 I had the chocolate creme brûlée. Great start to our mini-vacay in Monterey!“

“We love Cafe Fina and always try to dine there when in Monterey. Great food, cocktails and good wine selection. We recently had our son and daughter in law’s rehearsal luncheon there and everyone enjoyed the atmosphere, amazing food and drinks. We highly recommend this fine restaurant while visiting Monterey. My hands malfunctioned (probably because I spent all day clenching the steering wheel while my wife relaxed in the passenger seat) and I dropped a slice on the floor on accident and he gave me a new pizza. “After visiting the Monterey Bay Aquarium, we walked down to the pier and chose Crabby Jim’s from all the restaurants—and we’re so glad we did! The entire experience was amazing.

Alfredo, the host at the front, welcomed us with a great attitude. Once inside, our waiter, Butch, made the experience even more memorable with his excellent service. We were celebrating my daughter’s birthday, and the staff went out of their way to surprise her with a birthday slice of cake.

Papa brought out the cake and made the moment so much fun—he reminded us of a character straight out of The Sopranos! Great personalities, wonderful service, beautiful waterfront views, and delicious, fresh seafood. We definitely recommend Crabby Jim’s!“
