Ike's Love & Sandwiches is a great sandwich joint with fresher ingredients and more options than Subway. The sandwiches are a bit pricey but worth it. The Reading Rainbow sandwich on sourdough is enormous and delicious, especially without the dirty sauce. Vegetarian options are plentiful, including mock meat choices. The Dutch Crunch bread is a highlight, and the service is quick and friendly. Customers have praised the staff for being very friendly and helpful in selecting sandwiches. The facilities are clean, enhancing the dining experience. Parking can be a bit challenging, but the overall experience is delightful. The Bumgarner steak sub reminds many of a spicy update of Quizno's at their prime, with generous filling portions. One visitor enjoyed a delicious Reuben sandwich while relaxing at a vista on Highway 1, making it a perfect spot for a meal during a trip.
