Great experience at Schooners on the patio overlooking the water. Our waiter, Jacob, was very attentive and made great recommendations. Clam chowder in a bread bowl was excellent, Thai style curry mussels were delicious and the ceviche was good but not great. The fish tacos were tasty and the fried chicken sandwich was flavorful and unique. Would definitely dine there again.
We had the fish and chips and the sea bass tacos! Nicely prepared! The fish and chips were very nice and crispy. Fresh fish makes the best fish and chips. Ten tacos were also good and the fish was not dried! Our server was very kind and helpful. Definitely recommending this to all visitors of Monterey. An extra tip, if you park your car with the hotel valet park, you get your ticket validated at the restaurant!

A little hard for me to find at first. It was downstairs in a hotel. But I loved it. Sat inside by the window. Watched the sea lions swim by. Rebecca was our server for the night, she was awesome. Friendly and attentive. Loved the drink I ordered ended up ordering 3! Kudos to the bartender. Got the schooners tower, clam chowder bowl, and Schooners combo (I forgot the name of it) . The clam chowder was so good, the best we had this weekend so far. Nice option for a coastal restaurant.

This is our favorite restaurant in Monterey. Food is always outstanding and love the outdoor seating right on the Bay. Kid friendly, and easy to walk to from the parking on Cannery Row.

I had a great breakfast here, the avocado toast with poached eggs.Everything was delicious and the eggs were poached absolutely perfectly.Abby was attentive and friendly. Very good experience all around.

Good food near the sea. It’s inside the hotel at ground floor, and the hotel seems good atmosphere. We had brunch here and I love the stew beef. Might need to find some street parking spots to go to this restaurant.

We are locals and love to stop here on a whim! They had a tomato ? bisque soup that was the best I have ever had! We paired it with the burrata plate and harvest salad and of course a bottle of wine. Our waiter was the best. We ate outside and the patio heaters made it very comfortable.

I had the scallops and brussle sprouts and my spouse had the hanger steak and lobster baked potato. We loved all of it and the proportions were very generous. Each side dish could easily be shared. The ambiance is very casual but the menu is more like an upscale restaurant. The service was excellent.
This place was cute. It seems fancy but it is not. It has a small indoors. They are kid friendly and gave my son a cute little stuffed animal with the kids menu. Came here for breakfast and overall average food. Good coffee. We will come back
