The sandwiches are high quality, theres a huge selection of snacks and sodas to choose from, and Bennett who runs the place was so cool and welcoming. Cant say enough good things! The only place on my Monterey trip worth stopping at multiple times
Sandwiches are huge! There is also a big selection of potato chips you won't find in many West Coast grocery stores. Employees were friendly and helpful even though we showed up after 3 and they obviously wanted to close up for the day.
Stopped by based on Reddit recommendations and it lived up to the hype. The pastrami sandwich was delicious and massive! Bennett was super kind and hilarious and even let us borrow his aquarium passes for the day! Definitely a gem of a deli and you should stop if you’re in Monterey!
