The Crab House offers an inviting atmosphere with unobstructed harbor views, making it a great spot to watch ships and wildlife. The service is generally attentive and professional, with the staff described as extremely friendly. The menu features a variety of seafood dishes, including clam chowder, stuffed sole, fish & chips, and seafood risotto. The fish and chips are very good with good in-house tartar sauce. The Jumbo Coconut Prawns with chunks of sweet mango were crispy and wonderful, the Goat Cheese and Beet Salad was excellent, and the garlic bread was crunchy, tasty and fresh. The restaurant is a wonderful relaxing destination to dine with family or friends, featuring a great setting and beautiful views from both upstairs and downstairs. It is kid-friendly and often has available tables. The overall experience is enhanced by the scenic waterfront location and the friendly, helpful staff.
