Freedom Bakery was the yummiest addition to our dream wedding! We postponed twice, and they graciously accommodated the date changes. We had white cupcakes with raspberry lemon, chocolate cupcakes with mint chocolate chip, white cupcakes with ganache and chocolate buttercream, and a carrot cake for the next day :) All cupcake flavors were crowd pleasers, and guests definitely went back for seconds. We also loved the carrot cake (the bride's favorite) in the days following the wedding. Working with the Freedom Bakery team was an absolute joy, and we can't recommend them more!

We truly lucked out with the Freedom Bakery. It was our venue (Monterey Plaza Hotel's) preferred bakery. However, we had no idea how amazing this vendor would be from start to finish. They were SO easy to work with! I shared my vision and they made it come to life even better than I had imagined! The cake was STUNNING! Such a showstopper! The cascading sugar orchids on the cake were absolutely gorgeous! Not only did our cake look exquisite, it was incredibly delicious! We had two flavors: 1. Red velvet with white chocolate cream cheese filling and 2. White cake with chocolate ganache and mousse. Both were spectacular! Our guests raved that it was the best cake they had ever tasted. We had a lot extra so we had the hotel box it up for guests to take as they left. It disappeared quickly! We could not have been any happier with our cake. We did not save the topper, but plan on heading back on our year anniversary to get a fresh cake or slices in our wedding flavors. Excited to support this bakery because they exceeded my every expectations with their planning, professionalism, and all around epic cake.

We used Freedom bakery for our wedding cake. Being not from the area we were not sure what to expect, we did two flavors mango coconut and raspberry lemon, by far the best cake I've ever had, and they did it exactly as we wanted. I highly recommend them.

Paul made the tasting process for our wedding cake incredibly straightforward. They were incredibly accommodating to meet our needs and what we were looking for. All of the cakes we tasted were unbelievable which made choosing the flavor a bit challenging but Paul really helped us to finally settle on our decision of raspberry amaretto. The cake received high praise the day of our wedding and my husband and I ended up eating the top layer for the whole following week. We wanted a simple elegant cake with just textured icing and fresh flowers and it truly turned out beautiful and delicious! We definitely plan on getting cakes from them in the future.

This review is long overdue! My wife and I were married last November in Monterey. After finding our venue, we had exactly 28 days to plan our wedding. As you might imagine, finding a bakery that was available to do our cake on such short notice was going to be a challenge. Luckily for us, Freedom Bakery came to our rescue! They were able to produce an absolutely amazing piece of art that our friends and family rave about to this day. And, it was deeeelicious! So many bakeries seem to place the priority on the appearance of a cake rather than the taste. And, after all, it is meant to be consumed, so shouldn't it taste good, too? Well, they certainly think so at Freedom Bakery. And, as a final hurrah: we saved the cake top for our anniversary. And, it was even better than we remembered. Soooo yummy. I ate cake all weekend. Freedom Bakery, we can't thank you enough.

We loved everything about the experience of dealing with this company from the initial discussion, to the tasting, to of course the final cake. Everyone at our wedding loved the combo (Boston Creme + Mango Coconut), and we're excited to have the top layer in just over 11 months :)

Worst customer service experience ! When I went in last week there was a older white woman working and she kept looking at me very rude! Another employee was helping me as soon as we were done talking I'm walking out the door and she whispers that I need to pay half right there and then before this I had went in a couple months ago to get a quote and a young lady helped me and never mentioned anything about that so I assumed I pay when I pick up as I usually would do..so here
