Absolutely fantastic! Full Moon is just the spot that Alvarado Street needs. The menu was loaded with classic and traditional dishes. We found ourselves enjoying a bowl of hot and sour soup with a side of spicy sauce wantons! It went perfect with a few cups of green tea. To bring everything together we had the Szechuan scallops. Can't get enough of there wood ear mushrooms. 🍄 The service was very professional and we felt cared for throughout our meal. Will be returning...
I thought I'd eaten at all the good Chinese places around Monterey over the last 30 years but somehow I had missed this place. The lunch special is a fantastic deal at the price (I can't think of as good a deal anywhere downtown). The food is excellent, and the service is quick and very friendly.
Can’t beat the price! We got lunch specials and they were pretty good. Soup was bland but the salad and egg rolls were perfect. We loved the Mongolian beef and the noddles were good too. My Thai tea was prettt weak but not terrible. The service was great, super helpful and kind you can tell the restaurant was a little run down, ripped booths, sticky tables, etc… but overall it was good food for a great price
