Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop

$10.50 for one scoop, or $16.50 for a mini-sundae. It ain't that good.

Rude manager who doesnt know how to interact with customers. We were about to buy chocolates and have coffee but left in disgust.

Great place it is pricey chocolate but it's Ghirardelli and In a touristsy place so what do you expect.

The ice cream was good, but it was insanely expensive- almost $20 for that sundae only.

Honestly way overhyped & priced. $33 for two mediocre mini sundaes haha. I’m not sure if there was too much whipped cream or like no ice cream, but the ice cream that was in it wasn’t not the best soft serve. Wouldn’t recommend.

Nice little patio overlooking the bay, if you feel like sitting outside. Great ambiance, helpful, patient staff, and great chocolate!

This place pulls you in when you have a sweet tooth. They are extremely expensive $23 for a sundae. The caramel or fudge topping is at the bottom of the cup layered between perhaps one scoop of ice cream. The flavor is good but you end up chasing ice cream which is very creamy in flavor. The whipped cream is good but you get more of it in each scoop than anything else. Its almost impossible to dig through the ice cream to get to the bottom of the cup where they put the sundae sauce with the nuts etc. Its okay because its the Coast but there are a couple of other ice cream places I would try before spending the amount of money Ghirardelli charges.

The chocolate square really gets lost in the ice cream. By the time you eat it, it is frozen hard.

Got the hot fudge sundae and 3 other ice creams. $85. I asked for a little extra fudge as there was ever so little fudge there. I was told there’d be an up charge for that . Honestly I have never in my life had so little fudge on a Sunday anywhere. Save yourself the trip this service here absolutely sucks and they don’t care if the customer isn’t happy . They don’t care so they have permanently lost me as a customer here …..

Overpriced! $45 for 3 ice cream cones! Ice cream tasted very simple nothing special. Staff is not very friendly also we waited 30 minutes for our order. Seating area needs a good cleaning.

The best chocolates and ice cream sundaes. Some employees could work on customer service.
