Unfortunately, there are not that many Mediterranean/ Middle Eastern Markets in Monterey atea. I come from Southern California where there are ample Mediterranean supermarket but at least this place offers some Mediterranean goodies not found in regular supermarkets. The owners are very nice.
I love this place and the people who work there very sweet nice and well mannered. They help u with what u need when u ask and sometime go past customer services to caring for us customers. If u sad they help u smile. ? thank u international Deli Market for the gyros shwarmers ? I think that’s how it’s spelled lol and the salads esp Greek chicken Caesar salad whew so I will jus get the gyros plate and make it the Greek salad not reg salad and pay jus a lil extra ? well worth...
My family and I are religiously strict went it comes to looking for halal places to eat. Alhamdulillah we found this place because the meat is zabiha halal. We had the chicken shwarmas and cheescake which was decent. The restaurant is nice and clean, and the bathrooms are okay too. The market itself is about 3 blocks away from the restaurant. Parking is a hassle during the weekends.
