This place will be a must stop every time we come back to Monterey. We found it just by random google search and I’m so glad we did. The food was SO GOOD. It’s a chill and more relaxed venue which was exactly what we needed for lunch. The staff were super attentive and frequently checked on us and asked if we needed anything. The murals on the inside were very cool and wish I would’ve taken pictures of them.
The best tacos outside of Santa Cruz, hands-down.
The Jeezy Shrimp Taco & Surf and Turf tacos are incredible! They are overfilled with so much flavor and quality ingredients. Agua Fresca paired great with the savory tacos.
Customer service was stellar (cant remember the gals name), very friendly.
La Bahia on Lighthouse Ave will be my new home. Cant wait to to go back and try the other menu items 🌯

Great family atmosphere! Staff is very welcoming and helpful to everyone unknowing of the culture. Aquafresca tasted like i was biting directly into a watermelon it was not overly sweet at all. Highly recommend the Jeezy Shrimp Tacos as well!
