The waffles were delicious, buttery, and incredibly flaky. The owner is an incredibly sweet and hospitable man.
The chocolate waffle was stuffed with a very decadent Belgium dark chocolate filling, and the blueberry waffle had a delightfully subtle lemon glaze over it (the candied lemon peels were lovely touch).
Currently, he's opened Sunday at 10:00 AM for walk-in orders until sold out and the rest of the week are for orders placed the day before, so be sure to visit the Instagram page if you want to place an order.
If you're visiting Cannery Row, this is a must place to visit for a traditional Belgium waffle experience!

When I was in Belgium, I would go to the local train station and order one of these yummy liège waffles pretty much every day. I am so happy to have found these here in Monterey! They are so good!
