When I was in Belgium, I would go to the local train station and order one of these yummy liège waffles pretty much every day. I am so happy to have found these here in Monterey! They are so good!
I used to consider myself more of a pancake guy until I visited this spot. All Local ingredients and a convenient location make this place a must visit for any fans of sweets. Best waffle I ever had.

The waffles were delicious, buttery, and incredibly flaky. The owner is an incredibly sweet and hospitable man.
The chocolate waffle was stuffed with a very decadent Belgium dark chocolate filling, and the blueberry waffle had a delightfully subtle lemon glaze over it (the candied lemon peels were lovely touch).
