Little Korea is a wonderful and amazing all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ restaurant and a wonderful addition to Monterey. The food is very good, delicious, authentic, and honest; it is like a meal cooked by your mom at home. The meat quality is really good, with very lean cuts marinated so well, and the meats are flavorful and well-prepared. The hot foods are still a hit, including excellent fried chicken, which is moist and crunchy, as well as katsu chicken cutlet, Tteok-bokki, and Japchae, which are all nailed perfectly. The banchan side dishes remain authentic, with a large variety and a great self-serve bar that is amazing, always fresh, clean, fully stocked, well-organized, and constantly maintained.

The owner is one of the warmest, most genuine, sweetest, and nicest people, with a heart absolutely in the right place. She truly loves cooking, cares deeply, and creates a really comfortable atmosphere. The staff is also kind, attentive, and pleasant, clearly caring about ensuring a great customer experience. The generous hospitality includes gifts like soju and Korean cake. The restaurant offers great beer and soju, fountain soda, and fresh oranges for dessert. There is convenient parking. While a few minor aspects need ironing out, operations are smooth. It is a favorite restaurant in the area, better than many other AYCE KBBQ spots, and provides a truly impressive and exciting dining experience that means a lot to customers, who are always eager to come back.
