Walked in today for my super simple and easy regular order - a medium size drip medium roast. The lady at the counter after looking behind her (checking what house coffee is available)said:Cashier: Oh sorry but we only have dark roast and decaf.Customer: Oh but I don’t drink dark nor decaf. It’s ok (then I was gonna go walk away then came back to her and said) — “You couldn’t possibly make it for me cause usually that’s what anyone would do?”Cashier: Oh but I wouldn’t want to waste a batch just for this (you).Customer: Oh wow - I’ve never had anyone told me that. Who is your manager?Cashier: I am the manager. ** But I can pour the coffee for you now it’s not a problem**** You see how you just made an attempt to cover your crookedness, racial perception, distorted cognition because your first 2 responses have been released by your reckless and impulsive thoughts: 1) WE DONT HAVE MEDIUM ROAST IM SORRY 2) I WOULDNT WANT TO WASTE A BATCH FOR THIS!If the people (including the one and only staff standing in the corner and the customers in the building) and my teen daughter who was with me - they would see how crooked, unprofessional, incompetent, and irresponsible (and racist) you were. And you had the thick guts to keep saying “ Oh my gosh oh gosh” loudly as we were walking out without a coffee because YOU DID NOT WANT TO WASTE A BATCH FOR A CUSTOMER WHO HAD ASKED FOR A MEDIUM ROAST COFFEE. ** Your foolishness, incompetency, and wavering work ethics should be returned with the same format you give people***

The absolute worst coffee house! These so-called Baristas really know how to ruin coffee & then act like it's your problem! Zero customer service skills here!Yesterday, we stopped here & this coffee house itself is really cute, but the employees are quite literally the worst! There was no line when we walked in, one girl making coffee, a curly red haired guy meandering about behind the counter, talking to the girl who was actually working, ignoring us as we stood at the register waiting to place our order; and another female employee standing off to the side chatting with a guy (who we later assumed to be her boyfriend since she was kissing all over him), and 2 other girls. They were in this group chatting for well over 20 minutes blocking the walk way & having zero concern for the approx. 12 other patrons in the place. The curly read haired Barista finally took our order, a Dirty Chai (Chai w Espresso), I asked for 2 extra shots of Espresso. Then my daughter ordered the Horchata Cold Brew with Oatmilk, but asked if she could have it hot instead. He said "yeah, but it will be Espresso instead of cold brew", she agreed that was great. I paid for our order & then asked for the code to the restroom. The girl who had been busy working the whole time gave me the code- 1479*.I went back to use the restroom while my daughter waited for our order. I came back out and told my daughter, if you have to go, wait to use the bathroom on the side, it's occupied, but don't go to the one straight back because there's urine & paper towels all over the floor in there.I then went back up to the counter to let them know & waited again as they ignored me. The employee on the side finally finished slobbering all over her boyfriend & came back up to the counter, so I said- "the restroom straight back needs attention- there's urine & paper towels all over the floor." She said "ok" and remained behind the register, where her boyfriend came up again & they continued chatting over the register. He asks her what I had said about the bathroom (none of the employees had bothered to go check or clean it up) and she loudly says- "oh she said there's pee all over the bathroom"- then she proceeded to say to her boyfriend- "did you piss all over our bathroom?" They both just laughed & continued their conversation.By this point our drinks were ready. I took one sip of my hot Chai & made a face at the same time as the curly red haired Barista guy caught my eye. I didn't want him to think I was making that face AT him, so I explained- "sorry, this is terrible, and my daughter ordered a hot drink & this is on ice!"He said- "what's it taste like?"I said- "it tastes like straight bitter ground cloves in hot water."He said- "oh well we do use a Chai Tea Concentrate."I said "ok but it doesn't taste like Chai, nor does it taste like there are any Espresso shots in it, much less the 2 extra I paid for!" He just shrugged & said - "do you want another shot in it?" Then he just turned his back.Uhh, no Sir, I just want what I ordered. There was no offer to remake either one, no apologies, nor any other fix besides adding another shot to this joke of a $9 drink...which seemed to be a rhetorical offer at best.I am an everyday coffee person, it's not as if I tried something new & just didn't like it- this was swill. I typically love Peet's, but these employees just don't have a clue what they are doing & are obviously not being managed...at all.Meanwhile as I stand at the creamer/ sugar stand & try to doctor up this monstrosity of drink, the slobbering flirty employee is still B.S.ing w her boyfriend & didn't bother to get him out of the way, to take the paying customers orders who were now in line behind him.We left & threw our full shitty drinks in the trash right outside. My daughter's drink was basically iced cinnamon m

Nice coffee shop. I was visiting family and went here often. Friendly staff and coffee was always fresh. They do a good job wiping down tables regularly. Seems like a fun locals spot and dog friendly!

Short, Asian looking employee with big glasses has some attitude issues.

Service was terrible. I watched the cashier, Case gleefully tell people, "bathroom is closed. You can go to Chipotle if you need a bathroom." Young gal was just rude the entire time we saw her. Never going back there. Barrista, Rayne was nice.

A very nice fairly large Pete's Coffee. Shares a large outdoor patio with the neighbors Beer Garden that opens at 12 noon. Trader Joe's is in same center so lots of options.

12/2/23 Both baristas were extremely rude particularly the red/auburn haired young girl. It's way too early to give attitude to paying customers. When asked for a topping to be added she rudely squeezed a blob of caramel on top and one of the condiments was near empty and when asked for more she insisted there was some there and there was NOT! Hope management monitors this and sees who is being rude and gossiping behind the counter and treating customers like crap..... also, I am a frequent customer.....

Good coffee and nice outdoor seating! Also got the raspberry scone, but it wasn't that great. Little too doughy for a scone.

Everything about this place was great the food, the service, and the vibe around the whole store. The only really confusing part is the bathroom. They have a code and one of the codes don't even work for the left door. Other then that though I recommend coming here.

This location is conveniently located near the trader joe's however, It is quite apparent that The leadership of this location only has the interest of the frequent patrons or entitled locals who feel its acceptable to treat others as if they are mere obstacles to their goal. The coffee is solid, the staff is solid, but the leadership is completely out of touch with how to handle situations that require immediate involvement from themselves to deliver a quick resolution. The issue arises when the leadership elects to be apathetic until Halfway through a situation and enters with zero information to gain an empathetic perspective. It is further compounded when the leader takes the side of the party who is at fault. Why? He is better dressed, non responsive, or what? It makes no sense. After a career in leadership roles that carried much more weight, I can only opine that this person who has been entrusted with a leadership role at Pete's Coffee is in dire need of retraining or more likely needs to go. Bring in someone younger who has a better grasp of people these days and usually younger folks are more tolerant, empathetic and inclusive.Just saying
