Pocket Change Restaurant

Door dash messed with my order not pocket change. Food was delicious only complaint is the bread bowl is a bit to dry but the clam chowder is bomb. Their fish and chips is delicious as well!

I love this place, it’s my go to when I order on DoorDash in Monterey.

Absolute garbage! Wings were dry! Ordered a Chicago dog that clearly came from Safeway along with the bun! These guys have no idea what is a Chicago dog! undedible fried potato wedges that tasted like they were a week old and were completely black yet soggy at the same time!! Avoid this place at all costs..I hope I don't get sick, even though I did not eat much of it...

Just ordered the lasagna for two through DoorDash and it arrived hot and absolutely delicious. More than enough.Calamari and fried ravioli an extra amazing plusWe also got the Nathan Dogs. Celery salt was a nice touch.We’ll order again. Thanks for some really good eats Pocket Change. You got three new solid new fans tonight.

I thought it was good. A lot of cheese fries and the chili had a nice spice. The english muffin for a bun was actually good, didn't fall apart and wasn't sweet. I would recommend

Okay so let me start easily and honestly.I used doordash and didn’t have to look anyone in the face before I made this review.I ordered and paid for a mushroom Swiss burger and Cajun fries. I received a burger patty on an English muffin with Swiss cheese and that was exactly what I got for flavor. Was there anything else? I literally could not tell you.The cajun fries... I am born and bred in Louisiana. When I see “Cajun” at restaurants I expect almost nothing.... usually there’s French fries with too much black pepper and Tony’s but this lacked seasoning altogether. I could not even tell you how this restaurant formulated the thought to name them Cajun fries. I am not a fan of spicy food but food labeled “Cajun” outside of Louisiana is never ACTUALLY spicy so I assumed there would be some flavor. There wasn’t, it was a massive potato. Fried for the least amount of time they could get away with and delivered slightly orange with the smallest serving of mustard and ketchup. Extremely disappointed and I had almost no expectations .

I ordered the grilled cheese burger and received a bad grilled cheese. The potato wedges were burnt. Don’t waste your money the good reviews are a fluke. I’d give half a star if I could!

I cannot express how little you should expect from this establishment

Called to just see what happened to food because they put ranch in our boxes of food with no lids and spilled everywhere and smothered the food. Wasn’t even too much of a big deal more just wanted to know what happened and I’m not joking was literally blamed because we asked for ranch in the first place. I work as a bartender and totally understand that accidents happen (I am probably the nicest person you will meet) and when I called the worker there he was so mean and blamed us making it feel like it was our fault. Please you guys don’t support a business where a man literally had to put us down as customers to excuse his own actions that weren’t even that big of a deal in the first place.

Great restaurant! Lasagna was delicious! Reasonably priced
