My aunt and uncle own this spot, and let me tell you they didn’t just open a sandwich shop, they opened a hug in food form. The sandwiches are stacked, the flavors hit just right, and everything feels like it was made by people who genuinely care (because, well, they do). It’s the kind of place where you leave full, happy, and lowkey wondering if you can be adopted into the family. Monterey, you’re lucky. Real lucky.
I woke up earlier than my family and took a little stroll. I happened upon this little hole-in-the-wall spot and decided to grab breakfast. I was surprised by the size and value of the burritos i got. I couldn’t even finish it all!
I have been coming here for over 20 years. Affordable sandwiches, delicious breakfast burritos, generous portions, friendly local owners. May this sandwich shop prosper for decades more.
