The adjacent golf course, Del Monte, is the oldest golf course west of the Mississippi River. The course is always in great shape and the folks who work there are terrific. I’m a local who plays there often and have had many occasions to eat at the adjacent Hyatt Hotel. I am not sure what the room rates are but the prices on the menu, especially the drinks, are the same as Pebble Beach and Spanish Bay minus the ocean views!! We went to the Sea Root based on convenience after our late arrival at the hotel and we were impressed. The menu is short; but what they do, they do well. I had the pan seared Salmon with something fancy (Scarlet runner bean, rainbow chard, citrus-fennel reduction sauce) that down south we refer to as 'beans & greens', it paired remarkably well.
