The best part about Rocky Point Restaurant is the VIEW! It is a million dollar view. You can choose to dine inside or out. Weather permitting, opt for an outdoor table. The restaurant is on a cliff's edge, overlooking the raging blue Sur below. They always have red geraniums blooming. The hillside is lush. It is gorgeous. Their desserts and wine are great. The food is ok. It is not amazing, but the view is, so you don't really care! Even if you just order dessert and wine and sit outside to watch the waves rolling in, it is worth a visit.

20 years ago we celebrated our wedding day. We went back every 3 to5 years to celebrate anniversary. We are so sorry we couldn't go back today to celebrate our 20th. It's always next year! Hopefully!

This is the most perfect restaurant of my life I visited 3 years ago.I want to revisit it, but it said it was temporarily closed due to covid, is it open now??There are recent google reviews... But they don't answer the phone and the internet seems to be temporarily closed... Please update me ㅠㅠ

Deceiving information on the web-site, we were visiting in Carmel June 25th, wanted to go to Rocky Point Restuarant, looked at their web-site, and said open. We drive there and the gates were closed, we tried calling and no-one answered. Web-site today still says they are open, however, no one answers the phone. We eat here every year we come to Carmel area and it is a great restaurant, great services and of course, spectacular views.
