Green juice came from a Pressed Juicery bottle and the filet mignon was mid. Texture and flavor below the appearance of the lovely restaurant. Shrimp tempura was tender and delicious as well as the harvest salad. Service was great!

We had a lovely brunch there (5 girls- 2 grandkids, 2 daughters and our mom)- the view was breathtaking with a steady flow of otters in our view. We love that there were delicious entree options for adults and very reasonable kids meal choices, and kid dessert choices as well! Complimentary valet parking for those eating at the restaurant was a plus which allowed us to bypass otherwise difficult parking. Would return and recommend!

It was very disappointing. Service was good. Food dreadful. Clam Chowder bread bowl was tasteless. My husband's chicken sandwich was awful. The chicken was overcooked and burnt.

We were here for the half marathon weekend. We had the house special angel pasta with shrimp, which was superb. Wish this was on their ongoing menu. Been here five times and every time they did not disappoint.

An old friend and I had lunch at Schooners to ‘catch up'. The food was great and sitting by the window was perfect. It was quiet enough for us to talk and the staff was attentive but not intrusive. It was a wonderful experience.

Really great service. Great gluten free/vegan brownie dessert and pork ribs. Clam chowder was good. Original drink was too spicy but they too it back and made a good espresso martini sans Baileys for me.
There is no better setting than sitting at a table in Schooner's for a morning brunch. Watching the cormorants fishing, kayakers and scuba divers entering the waters from the beach access below is a reminder of the beauty and enjoyment of the Monterey Bay. It was a lovely afternoon.

Despite an error on my part in booking a reservation for the wrong number of diners, Schooners found us a table in less than 15-20 minutes. Food was fabulous! Drinks excellent! Our server, Nick, definitely a cut above! Always a favorite when in Monterey!

Wanted to enjoy this meal, given the ambience, but some rather poor food. My dish was so massively over-salted that I could barely taste the food, and son's hamburger was beyond well done, dry, and flavorless. He ate what he could before telling us he didn't like it, but then didn't want another/anything else. Service was good and atmosphere was enjoyable, but cannot recommend based on level of food served to us.

We were able to sit outside and the weather was amazing. Huge portion of Fish and Chips, not greasy and the fries were some of the best I've ever had! Also enjoyed the blackened fish tacos. Again a good portion. Service and food will bring us back.
