I ordered the Pad Thai and a Thai milk tea. The milk tea was twice too sweet and overwhelmed the tea (and I have a sweet tooth and can handle pretty sweet drinks usually). The pad Thai was unfortunately lacking in flavor and barely had any sauce, and was a bit sour. Unfortunately this place was not my cup of tea. Maybe some of their other dishes are better. The amount of food was enough for more than one meal (although I do not eat too much at once anyway), and I felt like it is relatively affordable.
Also for those who want itemized receipts, this establishment cannot do that, so if you're trying to find a place during a work trip, I recommend looking elsewhere if you need itemized receipts for reimbursement.

Food is okay, nothing special. The old man working there seems to hate his job; unpleasant grumpy guy.

Been there since 2006, but last night I ordered 1 spring roll and 1 dinner entree to go. The container had 1/2 cup of food…. For 20$ the entree was horribly small. No meat just tofu and not much of anything

We enjoyed the pad thai, pad see ew, green curry with beef. I wish d green curry waa more creamy from coconut..its kinda soupy but loved the bamboo shoots in it. Coconut ice cream was delicious. We ate here 2x. The owner is friendly and we love ambiance.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Monterey. Authentic Thai food with exceptional service. I’ve been here at numerous times in my 18months living in Monterey and can’t speak more highly about it. I brought my friends and family in and we all still talk about it almost a year after I left, which is why I’m just now writing a review.
Drunken noodles, coconut curry noodles, and eggplant Thai basil are my favorite dishes and my sister still raves about their Tom yum soup! Thai ice tea is a must get even though it’s on the sweeter end, it complements the dishes.
Parking is street parking and the wait for food is about less than 15mins.

Wow, never got denied service because we wanted vegetarian food. The owner just said it’s okay if you leave. That felt very rude and disrespectful.

I visited Siamese Bay Restaurant and ordered Pad Thai Noodles with scallops along with Thai Tea.
Unfortunately, the Pad Thai was very sour, and the vegetables were wilted and not fresh, even showing signs of spoilage. The scallops didn’t taste fresh either, which made the dish even more disappointing. I couldn’t eat it at all.
The Thai Tea was delicious but a bit too sweet for my taste.
The service, however, was excellent, and the staff’s humor was the only highlight of my visit.
I’m actually glad I came alone and not with my family, as I could only drink the tea and leave the food almost untouched.
I chose this restaurant based on reviews, so I’m leaving mine in return. If you’re visiting for the first time with family, I strongly suggest ordering just one dish first—if it meets your expectations, continue ordering; if not, you’ll save your money by trying another place.

Food was good, but asked me for a tip on the way out… who does that ? Asked for pork, gave me chicken instead. Asked for a sprite gave me coke instead, there’s a pattern here… tips aren’t handed out, you earn them, pay attention better and don’t close your store early
It was so delicious. I'll definitely be back.
