overall the food was very good. everything was fresh and very high quality. service was also excellent. sort of pricy but worth it given the quality. atmosphere is on the quiet side. great views!

My family had the opportunity to dine at the C restaurant on Cannery Row In Monterey this last weekend. Having worked my way through college in the fine dining industry, I feel quite qualified to give this restaurant five stars all around. The service from the hostesses to the bus boys and management was excellent. They were very attentive yet not overbearing.
We enjoyed three appetizers, including tender, but crispy calamari, a delicious garden salad, and savory crabcakes. I had the ribeye steak, medium, rare cooked to perfection with gratin potatoes. My son had the New York cut. And my wife ordered tender, but firm Seabass over a bed of crab-puréed potatoes.
For dessert, we had a rich chocolate something, a banana baked Alaska, and mango and strawberry sorbet.

Great experience! Devin our server was super kind and knowledgeable. They let us know about seeing whales 🐳 and in doing so we also got some great pics 🌅. Calamari was great, lovely savory flavor (with some lemon) and texture, not tough to chew! (the accompanying sauce was good too) Crab cakes were good and maybe it’s just me personally but i think i’ve had better and the biggest thing was the bell peppers were chopped a bit too big/could’ve been finer? maybeee it’s nitpicky and yeah i was a bit under the weather my appetite was less and a bit nauseous BUT i don’t think id ever noticed that in other crab cakes and again think ive had slightly better 🤷♀️ but STILL pretty good haha. The chicken entree was very good too. And the milk and honey toast dessert- UGH amazing. They really popped off with that guava jam 💅 great texture on the toast and both the milk and vanilla ice cream SO good, subtle sweetness, creamy, milky. AND OMG THE MOCKTAIL- honestly one of the best i’ve had. Not too sweet, not too sour, not too watery/bland! It was the southwest breeze or something?? can’t remember at all lmfao but raspberry, pear, citrus and we asked them to add cranberry juice (slight tmi, the insistence on cranberry juice was to help w the UTI i was suffering from today 😂😭). Anyways 10/10 mocktail hehe. Lovely very kind server. Inside the music was nice and overall ambiance and seating and really nice view of the water AND you could go outside, so twas great for pics. Thank you for a great evening on a rough day 🥲

A 70-year birthday occasion, nice restaurant with a beautiful view of the bay, delicious foods, not as many full entries as I had hoped but adequate, same with appetizers. Reasonable size portions, but overpriced, Felt a little rushed but good service. The music instrumental playing was good, but the vocals were subpar. The service was excellent. She even made a very nice small dessert because we were too full from dinner, so very kind and sweet of her. She made us feel appreciated and very special. Outstanding professionalism. My wife and I enjoy visiting Monterey. We are foodies, and love to experience and enjoy our dining choices. Tonight our Choice was C Restaurant, we were hoping to have a special meal and a view. All I can say is everything we expected was surpassed what we thought we would experience. The meals were splendid, flavors that made out taste buds dance. The view was wonder and romantic. Service was so personal and so professional. Our server Tony was the greatest server I have EVER experienced. I have been in food service for over 45 years. Tony was such an awesome person, be sure to ask for Tony to be your server when you visit C Restaurant in Monterey/ Cannery Row.

Tony, our waiter, was knowledgeable and gracious. Fantastic service!! The meals arrived at our table hot, just as they should have been! The fish was prepared perfectly. The view from our table was great. The valets did the best they could, but the traffic on Cannery Row at 6:00 on a Saturday night is AWFUL!

First time in Monterey so not a lot of experience with the competition. However, we really enjoyed our meal here. Nice table by the window. Prompt and friendly service. The menu wasn't the best for my wife, she had the Mary's chicken, which she did enjoy. I had the Sea Bass. It was really, really good. Perfectly cooked, great presentation. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

We chose to eat at a the C Restaurant for Easter because they weren't serving buffet style. They had a breakfast menu as well as specials. The 3 of us ordered different entrees and we very pleased with our orders.

What a great spot for Easter brunch! The Easter bunny made an appearance and the otters were in full view on the Bsy! The honey toast is a must order and they had Crab Benedict and millionaires bacon on the special Easter menu! Service is always awesome! Will definitely return!!
