This is a hidden gem! The food was wonderful. The latte was the best I've had. And the service was excellent!

i go here every time i visit monterey, it has the BEST vegan breakfast options in the whole city. food is always delicious (my meat eater friends love their options too) and while the wait to be seated can be long depending on when you go it’s sooooooo worth it!!!! better than the beatles

I get the idea people normally have a better experience here than we did, so maybe it was just a fluke. I ordered a dish that came with bacon, so when the server asked if I wanted meat I said just bacon, and they charged me to add extra bacon... Also husband ordered no dairy/cheese on his sandwich which they honored but then they put cheese on his side salad... The atmosphere was cute. My food was yummy. Mixed feelings about this place I guess and not a great experience while on vacation in the area.

After looking online and seeing bacon burrito to-go for $12.12, we called in while driving. Upon pickup, we were charged $20+. Cashier would not change price, even after showing them their app total. 10yrs as a customer, and I won’t push back, taking my business elsewhere. So bummed.

The staff are so kind. Pastry and drinks delish.
They fit a party of 10 in the littlest space & everyone is happy!

Great cafe! Visiting from the Bay Area and this place provides such a relaxed and cozy environment. Food is delicious and tastes very fresh. Servers are attentive and kind. Be sure to get there early! I went at 7:30am and they were already getting busy.

I anticipate low reviews are due to wait times and lots of nit picky tourists. Saw quite a few people who made it their personal job to be inconvenient to staff.

Would definitely
go again.

Delicious and plentiful vegan options! I had the mushroom breakfast burrito and it was great. Also, I appreciate that Wild Plum uses high quality oatmilk for their lattes (Minor Figures).

Crazy this place isn’t higher rated. I think it’s mostly about the wait times. Incredibly big portions of home cooked meals. So fresh and healthy.

Unfortunately food was sub par
My eggs were under cooked, I returned them all they did was throw them on the grill and burnt them. Waffles were under cooked. Doubt I will ever go back there.

They have a vegan menu which is great but we had to wait 50 minutes for our food and the waiter was absent almost the whole time and they werent even that busy. Potato scramble hash was tasty.

I had a craving for a really great salad after finishing a hike in the area and happened to find the Wild Plum cafe online. I ordered their Cobb salad, and it was everything I’d hoped for! Fresh greens and toppings (mmmm…the bacon…)…I will definitely stop here again when I’m in the area!

Horrible wait time. We were a party of 7. Took a party of 5, 4,4,4,3,4 that all showed out after us. Seemes like they wanted to maximize table turn over instead of service. Good food aside it wasn't great food.

These might be the best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had. The fruit was outstanding, and the coffee was great..
