Great Wall | Szechuan and Mandarin Cuisine is a restaurant with a cute interior featuring comfy green booths. The service is great, friendly, efficient, and very attentive, with servers checking up on guests. The food is excellent, with fresh flavor and generous portions. One standout is the three seafoods—prawns, squid, & fish—with perfectly sautéed veggies in a ginger, sesame seed, & garlic sauce, described as one of the best & healthiest dishes. Other popular meals include the moo goo gai pan with fresh vegetables, the General Tsaos chicken which was the best, and perfectly cooked Mandarin prawns with a light fry and caramelized sauce. Veggie Singapore noodles and Egg Foo Young are also very good. The restaurant offers brown rice in addition to white. While some find it a bit pricey, the quality makes it worth returning to. It is highly recommended for anyone in the Carmel or Monterey area.
