Food and service are good. One of the best dining experiences in downtown Monterey. They may not the best view but you don't need that with good dining
The bartenders are very friendly and make great drinks! We were sat in the back room for dinner which was very loud and hard to hear conversations. The burgers were fine but the Iceberg Wedge salad was terrible! The wine selections by the glass could be better. Overall a very average experience at best.
New to the area and this is some of the best pasta I've had around town! The fettuccine with prawns was phenomenal, embracing the flame grilled flavor. The bolognese was delicious with just the right amount of wine flavor.
Great experience dining here for lunch. My family and I all thoroughly enjoyed our food, and the service level was top notch. They made sure to get each of our customization requests spot on. We will continue our tradition of dining here when in Monterey.
First, the good. We were greeted warmly and seated quickly. The food was very good. The restaurant was very clean and has a great motif. It is within easy walking distance from the Monterey Convention center. Initially, we were the only customers in a side area of the restaurant. A bit later, more customers did get seated near us. Now, the bad..... Our Server (1003 Kristie) was rude and condescending. Whether it was asking for clarification on the bathrooms locations, or asking for a split check (2 checks) on a party of 4, she seemed rushed, bothered and surly. We asked for a split check due to one of our party having to provide a single, itemized receipt to his employer for reimbursement of their meal. At first she said no, the restaurant does not split checks. After an explanation of the requirements for the employer, she relented but spoke to us in an even more belittling and/or condescending tone. The people in our party all felt as if we had been scolded and it made for a poor experience.
We had wine and appetizer of flat bread pizza it was amazing !! Our dinner was the Turn 12 sandwich and it's my favorite one there . It came with hot truffle fries, everything was great! Our server was very attentive and friendly along with the busboy who kept refilling our water . We live Turn 12 especially before a show at the Golden State theater. Ray and Kelly
I have always loved this restaurant for dinner. This was my first brunch, and nothing was good. I am hoping it was a fluke!
I didn’t expect much going in, but it was worse than I would have thought. The food was mediocre at best, BBQ sauce on the ribs tasted like ketchup. Didnt refill my water once or ask if I needed anything. I was in a big group, so I get that but they went for the automatic tip, and told us absolutely no way will they split the check. Which is wild because I always tip more than the automatic required tip, but oh well. I get it they get stiffed but this was wild. On top of them not splitting the check the waitress made fun of someone wearing a suit when they asked that she split the check, like they couldn’t afford it. Haha This is my first negative review in 10 years, but it is what it is. I won’t ever come back and I’d avoid if I were you.
We arrived at about 10 pm, the order included water, a glass of wine, cheesecake, chocolate pudding. The food was delicious, but the waitress was very inattentive. Despite the fact that we were in the restaurant at 10 pm, even water was brought to our table for about 10 minutes, although there were no more than 15 people in the entire establishment.

Great food and great service. The atmosphere could be better, but we did go for Lunch, and it feels more like an evening venue.

Looking for a sports bar with tons of TVs and really great food? I was - last January, on a stay in Monterey. This modern corner bar has solid drinks, beers on tap and some of the best pub food I can remember. This past month, I returned again and even went back a third time! Why go anywhere new if you’ve found great food and friendly bar staff? I’ve never had lobster chowder in Monterey but this bowl rocks! Everything we’ve ordered here turned out to be satisfying with servings large enough to share. There are plenty of modern rooms with racetrack-filled memorabilia (even the name is an homage to Laguna Seca racetrack) including a patio area for those with doggie accompaniments.

Who doesn’t love starting with a boozy milkshake. They have 4 different types, peach, root beer and chocolate with peanut butter or mint chocolate chip. I had the special which was a snapper and it was cooked to perfection.
Parking: If you go on Tuesday night, the parking is free for a few hours at the garage parking and you can also walk around and enjoy the farmers market.
