Great Korean restaurant on Alvarado St. in Monterey. The food and service were excellent. The owner was very friendly. The spicy pork was awesome. Will definitely stop in next time we are in the area.
A great Korean spot for authentic bulgogi and lively conversation with the owner, a local who grew up in Monterey. Many reviews mention the menu is limited but I believe this is the sign of a restaurant that knows how to make each dish they serve an excellent choice and not a gamble you picked the one that wasn't good. A small place, but clean and inviting. Great service and consistently delicious food.

Great food, and great service. Not much they could do about the atmosphere, it is super clean, but due to it's size they realized it needed to be understated. It's a small place, a bar and a few tables, but the food is wonderful. Simple menu, even for those not familiar with Korean food, it's easy to understand.Kim Chi--excellent, I had the pork bowl and it was really tasty. Next time I'll go for their signature dish.
