Found this place to eat while driving through Moro Bay, glad we stopped for the rest and the food! We were seated in just a few minutes even though it was crowded! The cafe sits right off the island strand surrounded by water and a dock for boats! It was foggy this day but it was warm enough to go for a walk after lunch! It’s very picturesque and we enjoyed the food, service and ambience, mostly older folks, and very affordable! We’d love to go back!

The clam chowder is the best I have had in Morro Bay. Great flavor and the real test; a mouth full of clams with every bite. I know we also split a sandwich but the chowder was so over powering good I cannot remember which sandwich it was. Great views from every seat out into the bay and Marina. Walking distance from the state park if you are camping. Too bad they are not open early enough for breakfast.

We are return customers. Usually love this place. We were there in August and it was just awful. Didn't think the waitress even saw us for the longest time. The food was less than mediocre. I ordered a shrimp tostado salad, it was a cold small flat corn tortilla on a plate with cold watery beans wet lettuce, and tiny pieces of cut-up tasteless shrimp. I complained to the waitress and she says "yeah, usually people just smother it in salsa for the taste". Needless to say, we won't be back.

Stopped here after Kayaking cuz it looked cute but wow the food is delish! Good quality ingredients and lovely place with a nice view of the bay. Fish n chips was legit, and look at the bacon on my BLT! Good quality bacon, and overall good quality ingredients. Great service too. A delightful surprise.

Our service was excellent. We both ordered the fish tacos with fresh cod, which was a special that day. Besides the cubed fish there was plenty of cabbage lettuce, cheese and guacamole on the tacos. A side of salsa was also included. Tasty, delicious and filling would be the best adjectives for the meal. Note, no rice and beans were included, but were unnecessary, because the tacos were so filling.

Amazing! Loved the site, crab cakes, and seafood pasta. Server Nicole and support staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommend. Only quibble is space heaters set to blast.
