This was our first time dining here. The staff was great was great with our special needs daughter and the food was fantastic. I would recommend stopping in whenever you are in the area.
This is a nice classic seafood restaurant right on the water. We got to watch the sun go down behind Morro Rock. The service was excellent from the moment we walked in the door including the hostess and our very attentive server. The food however was just OK. In my opinion the garlic butter they serve the bread with had too much garlic in it and I do love garlic. My shrimp scampi was way overcooked, rubbery shrimp never a good thing. I sent it back and got more of the same, still...
Such a great place.to enjoy a meal. Indoor seating with ocean view and cocktails in the restaurant. The Haeboe Hut is a walk-up, no booze but great food. Outside seating and also under a patio. Awesome view of the bay and rock. Benches and high tables. Accommodates ADA, parking too. Dogs welcome. It's got plenty of free parking. What more do you need? Check them out, you'll be happy you did. The restaurant and Harbor Hut are different environments but both are amazing....
