Portobello as a burger was very good. If you want a vegan option.

House Of Juju is a laid-back restaurant on the Embarcadero in Morro Bay.
The hamburger I had was really good. It wasn't ultra fancy but everything was balanced really well. It's hard to describe it, but it had that feeling that left you exactly as satisfied as you want to be when you have a hamburger. A little bit messy and just the right texture mix.
The service was really friendly, and we left quite happy. They're apparently part of a small chain, but this one probably has the best views.
They have a smaller patio for dogs but a party of 5 and 3 dogs fit fine. Food was fantastic as always, chili bread bowl was great. They were able to do a non seasoned patty and a chicken for the dogs with some shredded carrots.
Justin was awesome! Justin got us a table fast, and was kind enough to separate our food into two bowls for each, as we were sharing. Justin also made good recommendations and was knowledgeable of the menu to help us make our decision!

Longest wait after being seated for a menu, water, and to take my tables’ order. Slow, very slow service, and the restaurant was not busy. Female waitress couldn’t care less about helping my table out because we were being served by the other waiter there. Very poor customer service since the employees can’t work together to serve customers. 2 tables were seated inside after my table was seated and helped before my table was even brought menus. The food and wait wasn’t worth the price, I felt like the quality was basic. The clam chowder had way too much pepper in it. Bathrooms had no toilet seat covers, out of toilet paper. I asked for toilet paper, went to use again before we left and still no toilet paper. Poorly ran restaurant, won’t return, won’t recommend.

Last night, a few friends and I had dinner and drinks at House of JuJu in Morro Bay. I want to start by saying that the service was very good. The staff was incredibly busy, yet they remained friendly, attentive, and worked extremely hard throughout the evening. They deserve recognition for their efforts.
Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. The hamburger patties seemed to be made with lower-quality meat, and the toppings—such as lettuce, onions, and other ingredients—were very sparse. Overall, the burgers lacked the quality I have come to expect from House of JuJu.
We also ordered a bowl of chili, which arrived only lukewarm. Our server kindly asked the kitchen if it could be heated up, but was told there wasn’t any hotter chili available. While the flavor was decent, I would compare it to Wendy’s chili. That’s perfectly acceptable for fast food, but at a restaurant with House of JuJu’s reputation and prices, I expected something noticeably better.
Another issue was the timing of our meals. There were three people in our party. Two of us received their food at the same time, but the third person’s meal didn’t arrive until the other two of us were nearly finished eating. I understand restaurants get busy, and we certainly noticed how hard the staff was working, but it’s disappointing when members of the same table can’t enjoy their meals together.
One other thing that stood out was the number of flies inside the restaurant. Because the doors were open, flies were consistently flying around the dining area throughout our visit. They were very noticeable and frequently around our table. While I understand this can sometimes happen, it was unpleasant while trying to enjoy our food and drinks and detracted from the overall dining experience.
I’ve been dining at the original House of JuJu in Clovis for many years and have always had positive experiences there. Unfortunately, my experience at the Morro Bay location didn’t live up to the standard I’ve come to expect from the brand. I truly hope this was just an off night, because I would like to see the Morro Bay location deliver the same quality that made the original restaurant such a favorite.

Great hidden gem nestled in Morro Bay with amazing views of the water. Randomly found this place on Google and was delighted with our experience! Quickly seated our party of 6, Sabrina was AMAZING putting up with our questions. We settled on a few different burgers and the chowder in the bread bowl. The roasted potatoes are some of the best I've ever had and the house dipping sauces were delicious. Burgers were actually cooked correctly to order which is a huge plus for our group. We split a hot brownie a la mode which was enjoyed. Really enjoyed this place and will 100% return when we're in the area again.
Still The Best!

Great Quick Stop on a Saturday evening. We came in just after the rush with three of us and got seated immediately. Drinks were on the table quickly. Kitchen was a little backed up but they communicated so well with us and didn't even matter. Food was really great and we had a great night. It was very fun watching the Otters and sea lions while we ate. Great location!
